High Interest Investment

High Interest Savings or Investment Options?

I'm 16 and I want to start investing. What would be the best route to take for long term investment and also which is best for like 2 years of letting it grow? And what banks and stuff out there have the highest compound interest rate? Thanks so much!!

  1. The best route is here
  2. I would look at Short term bond funds: Janus Short-Term Bond fund symbol JASBX. Up 8.6% last year Never lost money.
  3. You're 16, way too young for this. Just keep your money in a checking account and have 24/7 withdrawal, or keep it at home No need to use savings or CD. The interest rate is so low its not worth your time. If the rate is 3.5%, it means you give them $10,000 for a year, and you get $350 (less than a dollar a day)
